Post has been updated! Thanks to my SIL's comment, I've realized I left out the most recent nursery photos--it is done--we will be adding his name in wooden letters above the closet after his arrival (which is when we have decided he will get his name).
Well, Baby F and Mommy have made it to 34 weeks! Roughly 42 more days to go! We're almost there... both mommy & daddy are getting anxious! BUT we want to make sure Baby F has plenty of time to finish developing and preparing for his long journey. We love you little guy--the thought of holding you brings tears to my eyes.
It occurred to me that I never updated after my last doc. appt. That was last week! (sorry). I had gained 21 pounds and my belly grew an entire cm, for a total of 31cm. Baby's heart beat was fast and steady, the doctor said I looked good and baby sounded great! He is still convinced he is head down (mommy is pretty positive he is) so all is going as we'd hoped! Next appt. is the 27th, then we start going weekly! Mommy also has some tests to pass at the next appt. so please keep us in your thoughts!
Also, we started childbirth classes last week. We really debated on ditching out on the entire thing (we were not impressed with a previous class--Baby Basics (don't waste your time). I decided at the last minute that we should at least attend one session and leave during a break if we hated it. It was quite the surprise--VERY informative, the nurse teaching it is very personable and thus easy to talk to and we're meeting lots of couples we have much in common with! We even got FREE DINNER from the hospital (yummy Mexican food--my fave!). Needless to say, we won't be childbirth class drop outs! We plan to finish our next 3 sessions (and mommy even somewhat looks forward to them). It's nice preparing for 'the unknown' in such a comfortable and accepting environment!
I am doing a lot better since my fall. My back feels much better--just the regular achy feeling from carrying a baby! My foot is back to its normal pregnancy swelling. I am MUCH more careful and do things A LOT slower now. Guess that will just have to be the new me for the next few weeks! Totally worth it however--that was a very scary experience for mommy, baby & daddy!
Here are some photos at 33 weeks, 5 days right before I went to bed (so excuse the messy hair and lack of makeup). As you can see, I am tired & uncomfortable looking BUT it will all be over in a few weeks (I still cannot believe that). If it looks like I am about to topple over--I am! Guess that's the reason for taking things a lot slower! Does it look like Baby F has grown? Does it look like mommy's belly has grown 1cm? HA!

I am told I look exhausted and uncomfortable. In my defense, these were taken LATE at night after a LONG day of errands, housework and other events that kept me on my feet all day!
