Past Few Weeks in Photos!

It's been a busy couple weeks. Here's a recap in photos! I He looks at you with intensity when you talk to him! Mommy & Liam napping Last week I went to Auntie Chell's so Natalie could babysit me... here she is hard at work! Oh that sly little smile... Cousin Natalie offering me food We play well together This is DOUBLE TROUBLE! I was a good boy and napped for Auntie Chell Daddy helped Liam up for a ride on mommy's shoulders Pulling mommy's hair! HA!  This is lots of fun Dad, thanks! Grandma & Grandpa (A-va & A-vo) sent me clothes! Wearing these overalls for you Grandpa/A-vo.  Liam's hair went through an orange stage last week, although this week we agree it looks blonde/brown again, weird! Laying around with my brother The boss checking in on us WHAT?!  We're sun bathing! A Liam face and another... I love his expressions! Hi everyone! We've been waiting all week...

4 Month Stats

Liam had his 4 month well baby checkup today.  He got two more shots (well one shot, one oral vaccine).  He did really well--cried when they pricked him, stopped as soon as I picked him up.  He spent the day sleeping & had his normal run with diarrhea.  Other than that, he's been mostly normal (maybe a bit more fussy, but still pretty happy go lucky!).  Good job Liam! We discussed him rolling over on his tummy/back throughout the night (there's not a square inch of your crib that you don't cover at some point during the night).  You constantly roll yourself into the sides of your crib and since we have a breathable mesh bumper, it's not the softest landing and sometimes you cry out for mom/dad to comfort you and re-situate you.  We love ya up and send you back to dreamland! The doc isn't thrilled about you sleeping on your tummy (and truthfully she wants you back in our room until you're 6 months--says it would be easier for us to watch you and...

One Year Ago Today...

Last year we were holding a pregnancy test! This year we're holding our handsome and amazing son Liam David! Both experiences were/are amazing in their own right, but being a mother and a father is honestly the best gift ever bestowed upon us.  Liam, you are such an incredible blessing.  We love and adore you... yesterday, today, tomorrow & forever.  Thank you for coming into our lives and completing our family.  To many more happy memories...

Happy Growing

Friday night Liam was extremely restless and Daddy was very tired (he put in a 16 hour day) so daddy moved Liam to his nursery and Mommy followed.  After calming Liam, mom got "cozy" on the floor.  I just could not leave my baby alone in his room!  He woke again once that night when he hit his head on a crib toy, with a little patting he went right back to sleep until 7:03am (he's like clockwork!). Also, he was on his tummy and out of his swaddle when I got to him.  So I realized not only did he actually appreciate being in his room, he also told us he is done with swaddling AND is a tummy sleeper (we've been experimenting with tummy sleeping for naps since Wed./Thurs. but he was swaddled, as I could not get him to go down without a swaddle--and I KNOW your not supposed to do that--rest assured I watched him nap the entire time!).  I guess he didn't want to be swaddled while on his tummy though because I learned yesterday during his nap that with a bit of pati...
