MANY New Skills

So many new things Liam has been doing over just the past few days. This kid is quite the character! He's obsessed with the open/shut them song (he learned it in music class). He performs it pretty well. We got it on video tonight, although he didn't have one solid take on it (which is rare, I think the video camera threw him off). So here are two takes to prove he knows all the motions. Too funny. We find him doing this in the back seat of the car randomly (we listen to the cd a lot in the car). If you even say open/shut, he starts doing these motions. So cute! Yesterday, I found my lil' guy in the backyard. Since the door was locked, I figured the only way he could have gained access was through the dog door. He confirmed my suspicions today... In his defense, I did say we could go outside after he took a nice long nap (which he did take, right next to mama... my favorite afternoon activity these days, love snuggling my lil' man!). I went to get his s...

Trick or Treat?

Liam would like to share his Halloween card with everyone... ... That's right! We're having a baby!!!!! (Lord willing). We're 6 weeks along (as of tomorrow) and sharing our news after promising results on my blood work (last pregnancy, my blood work was through the roof, thus explaining why I was so ill and indicated a non-viable pregnancy, which the ultrasound also proved). This time around, my blood work went from 1279 (5 weeks, 1 day) to 1918 (5 weeks, 3 days) in a 46 hour period. The doctor said that indicates that as of now, everything is "firing as normal". After my blood work, the doctor said he would request another sample in a couple weeks and possibly an early ultrasound, but later decided since the blood work looked good and considering I don't have a history of miscarriage (since I had to have a D&C) that it would not be necessary. I had a little "chat" with my friend Kristin, who knows me well (we'r...

Morning!

Good morning everyone! This little cutie is doing something new! He continuously does the "shocked" face (mouth open in an "o" shape) and puts his hand over his mouth while making the "huuuh" sound. Not sure where he picked up his new little "surprised" look but it's too stinkin' cute not to write down, so I can remember that lil' face forever. Will try to get a photo of it, if I can catch him doing it with the camera in hand!

Last Weekend

And finally, as promised yet again, here is my final post for the night on our last weekend. We traveled to Hanford to attend a wedding for a member of Kevin's family. It was a beautiful wedding and fun evening. We certainly wish the happy couple the best... they are absolutely adorable together! David and I trying to keep the kiddos entertained during the ceremony Success! Couldn't help it... love Liam's face on this one. So proud of himself! The following day, we got out early to head over to the pumpkin patch my in-laws created with some friends. It was nice for them to invite my nephew Braxten, he had a lot of fun! We all did, as I think the photos prove! Cousins (my sister's son Braxten who is now 4!) Cousins (Patty's son Ryan is 4 and Michelle's daughter Natalie is 2!) The boys The toddlers All the kiddos (notice our niece Rhys, Michelle's new baby! in the trailer behind her sister) ...
