Kevin, Shannah, Liam, Lorelei & Delaney

We've tried putting Liam in a bike trailer once before and he HATED it. Kevin really wanted to get a seat to go on his bike for Liam. Yesterday while at Babies/Toys R Us, Daddy asked if we could look for a seat. We found one that goes at the front of the bike and looked small enough to fit Liam (and super cozy too). Kevin was so excited to install it last night and we set out early this morning for a ride. Liam LOVED it (though these photos are deceiving because a) he's teething--runny nose, drooling, grumpy/whiny and pulling on his ears AND b) because it was really hard to capture photos of Liam laughing/smiling as the guys buzzed past me!). We started riding around the neighborhood and somehow ended up on a trail--it was a bit more than mama bargained for (I am so out of shape!) but so fun. It was a really nice day out here (usually we have bone chilling winds, no matter how gorgeous it may appear). Sure was a wonderful way to start off our Saturday! All geared up and ...

We made it to Hanford on Friday afternoon. As I mentioned in my previous post, Liam just took off and was right at home at Grandma (Ava) and Grandpa Snowden's. He even took his first 3 steps that evening! Braxten pushed Liam and surprisingly Liam also pushed Braxten Liam was absolutely mesmerized by my parents dog Simba. Guess he does look more like a pony than a dog to a little guy. What? I'm just looking! Grandpa Snowden had arranged for the boys (Braxten, Liam and a play mate) to go to the fire station for a tour. The boys had so much fun. Liam was surprisingly well behaved considering he was due for a nap and he just finished up with a four hour trip to Hanford (took us WAY too long this time around). He only cried when cousin Braxten continuously honked the horn of the fire truck (the echo inside the station hurt my ears/heart, so I don't blame Liam!). It was a really fun and neat experience...we all learned so much and were so grateful for the tour. ...
