6 Months

Liam you are half a year old today. How did we get here? I am starting to truly understand why people say to slow down and enjoy it. Time really is flying by! Your a really neat little boy Liam and you get neater, sweeter and do more everyday. You are quite a blessing. Stats: Weight 14 lbs, 14 oz Height 26.5 inches Head 44cm You wear 3-6 month clothes and we've started putting you in some 6 month onesies (there a bit big, but you're not swimming in them). Your pants are still fitting pretty well at the 3-6 month size (yesterday we had you in some 0-3 months, but mama thinks those days are just about over--they fit your legs, but I am worried we're squishing your tummy!). You wear size 2 diapers (and a size 2 doubled up with a size 3 at night--you pee quite a bit and soak through if we don't double diaper at night). Amazing!

That's the word that comes to mind when I really sit back and think about my 5 month old (okay, basically 6 month old) and all the progress he's made! This little guy is so different than the little baby we brought home from the hospital. He sits up (unsupported--there are some crashes, but it's rare and takes a long time.  He could careless--he just goes about rolling or trying to crawl). He plays independently (books are his new fave... he loves turning the pages) He's so happy (which really warms my heart) He makes funny faces and has the best personality He is so active (not too long ago we were putting pillows under his feet and bouncing the jumper for him). I have a feeling when this little guy gets going, mama's gonna be BUSY! Speaking of going... he is trying to crawl.  Right now he has moving in a circle mastered (I really need to get video of that)... but here are some photos for now Notice he starts in the shade and ends up in the sun!...

Liam, Meet Santa Claus...

Liam liked Santa for all of 15 seconds! Poor little guy. We thought Liam would be mischievous (pulling at his beard and glasses) but as you can see this was not the case. He was NOT a fan of Santa and cried until Mommy picked him up... then he was Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky again. Oh, my poor baby! Guess there's always next year...
