GIRL! Just as mommy's intuition said! And she looks like a pretty lil' gal too! After our ultrasound, little Missy added her first outfits to our home. PINK PINK PINK outfits & big gigantic bows! Soooo excited! :)

Hey everyone! So we're hoping today will be Baby #2's special gender reveal! At 5pm (pacific standard time) we are going in for an elective ultrasound to try and see baby & ultimately determine the gender! This will be broadcast LIVE at 5pm (pst). With the apartment search starting, the organizing/prepping we need to do to get our things ready for pcs (will we need to pull out boy clothes?) & all the paperwork, etc. we need to get in place, we know we won't have time for a "gender reveal" party (like we did with Liam). Besides, this baby refused to give us a peek earlier, so I guess he/she has decided this is how he/she would like to be revealed. Kevin + Shannah + Liam + baby makes 4! We are adding on to our family in December! I'm almost 4 months along with a lil' baby that doesn't want to share his/her gender (although mama's instincts say girl!). We have a due date of December 15th & are very excited (even though it changes our move plans a bit). Due to our history, this pregnancy was very nerve wracking in the beginning. At 6 weeks (which seemed like forever, since I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks, 5 days) I saw the BEST sight at my ultrasound (a fetus with a strong heartbeat!). Our previous two pregnancies had no fetus at our 10 week ultrasound (reabsorbed likely due to an abnormality) so it was really a relief to see a healthy baby in there. But, this pregnancy was not without it's drama. At 11 weeks, 5 days I had a major bleed while out running errands. Rushed to the E.R. where they (unintelligibly) diagnosed me with an impending miscarriage. Luckily my doctor wasn't convinced & ...

So the last post was for Liam's birthday party, we celebrated the weekend before his actual birthday. On June 13th, Kevin took the day off to celebrate our big boy's birthday! When Liam woke up, we headed in with his gifts! The night before we asked Liam what he wanted to do for his birthday. He said "cows" over and over again. The following morning he was talking about cows and horses. So we headed out to Avila Barn and the Atascadero Zoo for the day!   We had so much fun at Avila Barn. Liam ran from animal to animal just talking and smiling. He loved feeding the goats. He was so timid about getting on the tractor when it came driving up, but loved that experience.
