**Oh my goodness, I wrote this post and never pressed publish. Mommy brain strikes again. Better late than never... I'll add some current updates too**
Lorelei you are 5 months old. You are beautiful, you are smart, you are happy, you are so incredibly sweet and precious, I/we literally just want to eat you up! And I must not be the only one. Strangers literally stop me wherever we go to talk to you, touch you, indulge in the smiles you ALWAYS dish out & remind me how blessed I am (as if I ever forget).
Weight: 11lbs, 12 oz
Height: 24 3/4 in (you've grown!)
Diapers: size 2
Clothes: size 0-3 and 3-6 (heck I can get some of the bigger NB clothes on you still)
Feedings: still every 3 hours during the day (unless you're napping, you can go 4 hours between a feeding then). You've stretched to 5-7 hours at night (with the help of oatmeal and bananas!).
You are sitting unassisted for several minutes, but those stinking toesies get you every time. You lean over to check them out and it's over! You are also trying to crawl. You have mastered spinning in a circle and scooting (& make it pretty far using both techniques or a combo of the two!). As of 5/25, you've mastered the up on all fours and on 5/26 you started rocking back and forth. Not too much longer :(
You are a babbler, talker, ga-ga, gooer and "ooooher!" You LOVE to chat our ears off & especially love giggling at and talking to your brother. It is the sweetest sound to hear the two of you interact. He adores you and you admire him. Truly melts my heart.
You are not too interested in rolling from your back to your tummy. You can roll effortlessly from your tummy to your back, but you're pretty comfy there and that's where it stops. Liam rolls you back over and I think for now you're content with his help!
We started feeding you oatmeal cereal and bananas because you've tracked food and drinks since 4 months old and you just seem so hungry (you grab food, cups, straws and put it/them into your mouth). You didn't sleep better at first (I am guessing your tummy was getting used to the food), but are starting too now (as of 5/26). Heck the past few nights you've slept 6-7 hours before waking for a feeding. As of 5/26 you've had: sweet potatoes, bananas and oatmeal. You say "mmmm" when we feed you bananas, so I'd say they are a favorite!
You love to play. You are great at grasping toys and putting them into your mouth (Sophie the giraffe is a favorite). You've mastered putting your paci in and out too (this is helpful!). You looove books. Love to look at books and love being read to. Another bookworm (mommy was one, Liam is one and you're in training!).

Your sleep routine is getting better. You nap twice a day (morning and afternoon). We are slowly getting rid of the cat nap at 5pm(ish). Bed time between 7:30-8:00 and you go about 5 hours before waking to eat. As of 5/26 mama has tried putting you down sleepy, but awake and you've put yourself to sleep with someone coming in to put your paci in a couple times. No real fussing about it either. Hallelujah, you're NOT your brother!
Words cannot express what you are to me, your daddy, your brother or this family. You are my breath of fresh air, you are everything happy and positive and you make me a less negative and stressed person. I am thankful for your love, your laughter and your smiles. You make me/this family feel complete. I love you beautiful little lady.
