11 Months Old!

This little lady is a DOLL. She's so happy and overjoyed 90% of the time. Such a happy go lucky sweetie pie. She literally lights up a room.

Lo is wearing 6 month clothes. Need to weigh her and measure her. She is wearing size 3 shoes. At night, she wears size 2 diapers, but cloth during the day.

She is walking about 30% of the time, but definitely knows crawling is the way to get around FAST! She walks quite a bit when she gets around babies that are walkers.

She says mama, dada, bub (bubba for brother), elbaw (elbow, from the movie epic "ow my elbow!"--her brother says this all the time) and she just added on the cutest little "hi" you've ever heard. One night after skyping with papa/grammy she started whispering "ha pa"... too precious. She waves hi and bye bye. She has started holding phones (& her baby dolls) to her ear and saying "ya" and then babbling. Speaking of baby dolls... she ADORES baby dolls. And even her brothers Toy Story Woody doll is pretty popular.

Her hair is growing in the back (if you look closely at her photos, you'll see little wings sprouting from behind her ears!). And to us, she seems to be getting longer, but the doctors would argue that it still isn't enough. Ah, whatever!

She's happy, outgoing, curious and so easy going. She has the most amazing personality. She gives kisses when asked. She ADORES her brother and her daddy. She's our spoiled, precious princess love pocket.

She loves to clap "yay", loves pointing at eyes (yours or her baby dolls), she uses random objects as phones (play phones, remotes, dolls) and says "ya" as she holds them to her ears, she is obsessed with remote controls, she just started climbing (stairs and furniture),she is into everything and gives the sweetest kisses when you say "kisses?".
Her favorite game is when you pretend to "bite" her. She squeals and giggles when we play that game!

We've started giving her a sippy of a little bit of water and she about has it figured out. She surprised us at dinner the other night... she can drink from a straw! We had no idea! She is getting a bit pickier about eating, but nothing like Liam. She's pretty good about eating. She still breastfeeds, but I doubt it will last much longer, she gets distracted too easily these days because she's always on the go and her brother is her hero.

Plans are being made for her first birthday party. And the theme seems sooo appropriate, in my opinion because Lorelei "you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray!"

Therapy...

Not being silent about our loss is looking to be the best therapy for me during this difficult time. Through Facebook I've had countless friends reach out to me and share their stories of loss. Although it doesn't make me feel better, as we're talking about too many babies in heaven, it does make me feel less alone. So I was diagnosed w/ blighted ovum. Meaning the gestational sac and placenta was growing inside of me (the ultrasound showed it was indeed around 7 weeks along) but the baby stopped developing and was reabsorbed into my uterus. Problem is, the placenta is responsible for pregnancy symptoms, so my body still thinks it is pregnant, but there is no longer a baby or embryo. So, until I actually miscarry the tissue, I will feel pregnant. I don't know how to explain how I've been feeling the past few weeks. At first I thought it was just my uneasy feelings of this pregnancy being "unplanned" and so close to my previous pregnancy. It took me a wh...

25 Weeks & Doctor's Appt.

We hit the 25 week mark today!  Hard to believe!  Time is flying so fast... We had our doctor's appointment today (Kevin is out of town Thursday, so we moved it up).  I weighed in at a whopping 109.8!  My nurse and my doctor's response was they are so so proud of me (I felt so special!  Who would have thought GAINING weight would be so exciting?!).  Kevin's response "WHOA!"  And my response to his "WATCH IT Buddy!"  Ha!  So that's almost 14lbs of weight gain!  I really am quite proud of myself... never thought I could do it (although, I spend most of my time eating these days, so it makes sense). The nurse said I "look cute, am starting to show and have that pregnancy waddle."  Considering I did not feel like I was waddling (sometimes I have to because my tailbone hurts so bad) I was not exactly thrilled about this comment, lol!  I asked Kevin if there is something he is forgetting to tell me... ha! The doctor measured my...
