This happy boy loved Thanksgiving!
Even if his shoes were too big!
Look at that toothless grin
We are thankful for this little sweetie!
Ava is thankful for him too!
He spent part of the morning lounging around!
Ready to head over to Papa & Grammy's
Our first Thanksgiving
Thankful for Liam
Such a happy boy
Posing with Ava and Grandpa
Hanging out with Papa
I ate my yams at Grammy's house!
Spent some time with my Uncle Jeru
and my cousin Braxten!
Had some fun with Grandpa
And my Auntie
We decorated the Christmas tree at Ava/Grandpa's house, so I got in my "gear"
Cousin Braxten helped too!
Mom says I am the cutest Santa she's ever seen!
I got really tired!
So I ate my oatmeal and called it a night!
I had a fantastic visit with my Ava, Grandpa, Papa, Grammy, GG, Auntie's and Uncle's! I enjoyed playing, visiting, babbling and being loved on!
I loved riding on this toy!
I really adore my cousin Braxten
My Grandpa spoiled me one night and let me stay up late fighting fire (a computer game)
I am Grandpa's little firefighter in training
Over the holiday weekend, Liam learned to sit up really well. He can manage a few minutes without a single wobble! We think he'll be sitting up in no time. Also, Liam is showing signs of his first cold (poor baby). We noticed a little cough during the drive home Sunday night and Monday morning he woke up with a runny/stuffy/boogy nose. Poor little man. Hoping we get through this fairly easy (so far he just sleeps a lot during the day!).
Backing up to last weekend. Saturday the 20th, we gave Liam yams (we had tried avocado Mon. the 15th--he wasn't a fan, but we'll be trying again here soon!). We decided to give up on the avocado and opted for the yams, so he could enjoy them at Thanksgiving--and that he did, so much so that we had to increase the amount from 1oz to 2oz the day after Thanksgiving--he cried a TON after his Thanksgiving lunch when mama signed "all done"... he definitely didn't like that! Since increasing the amount, we've had no more tears at lunch time!

Trying avocado
He took 3 bites, stored them all and promptly spit it all back out!
Looking in the bowl... what is that mama?
First taste of yams
Reaction
hmm...
I don't know!
Not too bad
Give me that bowl!
I'll eat the bowl too!
I'm a mess!
All done!
A great nap followed
That night, we took out our Christmas stuff (we knew we'd be in Hanford all Thanksgiving weekend and mama always likes to have the tree up by the 1st of December). Maybe this will be our family tradition?! Liam helped put up the tree and we played dress up!
