That's the word that comes to mind when I really sit back and think about my 5 month old (okay, basically 6 month old) and all the progress he's made! This little guy is so different than the little baby we brought home from the hospital.
He sits up (unsupported--there are some crashes, but it's rare and takes a long time. He could careless--he just goes about rolling or trying to crawl).
He plays independently (books are his new fave... he loves turning the pages)
He's so happy (which really warms my heart)
He makes funny faces and has the best personality
He is so active (not too long ago we were putting pillows under his feet and bouncing the jumper for him). I have a feeling when this little guy gets going, mama's gonna be BUSY!
Speaking of going... he is trying to crawl. Right now he has moving in a circle mastered (I really need to get video of that)... but here are some photos for now

Notice he starts in the shade

and ends up in the sun!

He wrestles!

He even fights back.

His smiles light up my day

He loves trying new things (this is his first round with squash yesterday)

It was a hit

He sits in a big boy car seat now

He receives mail

It was a pretty special letter

It was from Santa

Santa knows all about me and says I am very special (mommy and daddy could not agree more)

He is, has and always will be my heart and soul.
Last night, Daddy took video (on his cell phone) of Liam getting up from laying to a sitting position (it's the first time we've ever seen him do that). Will try to get that on the camera, so we can share... look for that soon! For now, we're just in awe watching Liam grow and change. Very, very bittersweet.
