Vacation photos & videos

Liam has spent the last two days sleeping quite a bit. As I browse through the photos of our time with Grandma and Grandpa Snowden, Auntie Kimber, cousin Braxten and other family/friends, I can see why he's so tired! Oh what fun we/he had!

Liam's been flipping for a few months now, but this is the first time we've allowed photography of his stunt. Liam's grandparents were amazed and thought this was hysterical! Liam LOVES flipping!

Talking to his dada on the phone (Kevin was away for the week). Wish I had the camera a couple minutes earlier, he was talking up a storm to his dada (although, none of it either of us understood).

Kisses for cousin

Liam loves music and dancing. He started doing "tiny Tim" movements (one finger pointing at palm of the other hand). We've done this in music class twice. Apparently Liam is paying better attention than I thought!

Bath time curlies!

Fell asleep at lunch (first time to ever fall asleep in something!).

Grandma bought him a wagon that he adores!

More "tricks" grandma taught Liam! He still pillow fights and "booms" at home! In all fairness, my mom also taught Liam where his eyes are (and to pillow fight, body slam with a "boom" and hammer walls/people/animals/anything in his reach!). Ha!

My mom babysits an 8 month old who actually belongs in this walker, Liam was slightly jealous so Grandma put him in it!

Liam LOVES his belly button these days. If you say belly button, he'll touch it and you'll catch him randomly tugging at it throughout the day. And he'll find yours if you let him.

We had such a good time spending the week at my parents house. Nice to be home, nice to have extra help, but most of all absolutely in awe watching my parents and my son. Truly, truly breath taking moments, I'll never forget (and Liam won't either, I'm sure).

I also don't want to forget--Liam has two more teeth (his top left, next to the center top two) is almost completely in place and one on the bottom (his right, next to the center teeth) is slowly appearing!

Liam, Sha-Sha Girl, Kev and My Furs: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for coming over and staying with Grandma and Grandpa Snowden for your week's vacation while DaDa worked.

We had so much fun and have so many fond memories. Our hearts are full and we thank you so much. You could have done anything, but you chose to stay here and WE SO APPRECIATE IT.

Liam you are straight from God and the Angels. Everything you do tells me you are special and sprinkled with eternal sunshine from within. You have an infectious smile and personality which I enjoy beyond belief.

Truly a FUN and WONDERFUL family. Thanks for everything kids. What a BALL!

Love you all!

Therapy...

Not being silent about our loss is looking to be the best therapy for me during this difficult time. Through Facebook I've had countless friends reach out to me and share their stories of loss. Although it doesn't make me feel better, as we're talking about too many babies in heaven, it does make me feel less alone. So I was diagnosed w/ blighted ovum. Meaning the gestational sac and placenta was growing inside of me (the ultrasound showed it was indeed around 7 weeks along) but the baby stopped developing and was reabsorbed into my uterus. Problem is, the placenta is responsible for pregnancy symptoms, so my body still thinks it is pregnant, but there is no longer a baby or embryo. So, until I actually miscarry the tissue, I will feel pregnant. I don't know how to explain how I've been feeling the past few weeks. At first I thought it was just my uneasy feelings of this pregnancy being "unplanned" and so close to my previous pregnancy. It took me a wh...

25 Weeks & Doctor's Appt.

We hit the 25 week mark today!  Hard to believe!  Time is flying so fast... We had our doctor's appointment today (Kevin is out of town Thursday, so we moved it up).  I weighed in at a whopping 109.8!  My nurse and my doctor's response was they are so so proud of me (I felt so special!  Who would have thought GAINING weight would be so exciting?!).  Kevin's response "WHOA!"  And my response to his "WATCH IT Buddy!"  Ha!  So that's almost 14lbs of weight gain!  I really am quite proud of myself... never thought I could do it (although, I spend most of my time eating these days, so it makes sense). The nurse said I "look cute, am starting to show and have that pregnancy waddle."  Considering I did not feel like I was waddling (sometimes I have to because my tailbone hurts so bad) I was not exactly thrilled about this comment, lol!  I asked Kevin if there is something he is forgetting to tell me... ha! The doctor measured my...
