We took Liam to a very low key pumpkin patch, geared towards toddlers. It was so much fun. He ran in the pumpkin patch, wandered around the hay maze, went on a tractor ride, attempted to ride a Pony (as you'll see, that didn't go well), played with chickens and ducks (one of them nibbled Liam's finger when he stuck his hand in its cage after repeated warnings not too--he took it in stride, not a tear!).
He was completely amused watching a rabbit in its cage and ate 2 popsicles (one that we offered him, one that a little girl offered him... he was happy to oblige, it was so hot!). Oh and he sampled an apple from the farm! He passed out on our way home and we all ended up taking a nap together when we got home. What a wonderful Saturday afternoon!
After nap time, we went out for ice cream. The parlor had a chalk board wall that Liam found quite fun, so we headed next door to a local market and bought some chalk. Liam's daddy made him this chalk/magnet board a long time ago, but we never bought chalk! Liam LOVED drawing with mommy and daddy!
Then, we went outside to decorate the pumpkin Liam picked from the patch!
Liam's art ran over to his face!
And here is the first pumpkin Liam has ever decorated!
