The last weekend of February, we just up and decided to head to Hanford. We were discussing making a trip in the near future, at the breakfast table on Saturday morning. When I asked Liam if he wanted to go see Grandma, Grandpa, Grammy, Papa, Auntie's & Cousins he shook his head yes. When I asked again he said "eesss" (yes). So, we packed up and took off!
| First thing he did after getting out of the car, ran up and get on the bear! |
| Then, he pet the dogs |
| Liam was a bit nervous about the jet, Mama was VERY willing to help! |
| Making the fish sing at Grammy & Papa's |
| Only a tad bit spoiled at Grandma & Grandpa's |
| Reading with Grandma and Cousin |
| He really enjoyed the merry go round |
| Big boy wearing Braxten's fire boots |
| Cousins |
| These two are so close in age, they just love to antagonize one another |
| So sweet, he just adores Rhys |
Liam was also gifted a bike a few weekends ago, from one of Kevin's friends/coworkers! His little boy was done with it and they were going to donate it, but offered it to us first. Kevin was so excited to get Liam on it... Liam enjoyed it too!
| C'mon Dada, let's go! |
Last weekend, we decided to try the Santa Barbara Zoo again (last time we went, we felt Liam was still a little too young to truly understand). The past couple of months, Liam has really taken an interest in animals and their sounds, so we thought it'd be a perfect Saturday outing. And of course, we were right!
| Ready to head out (look Grandma, my zoo hat finally fits!). |
| He said "dog"... guess the fox did look a lot like Bruiser! |
| Looking at elephants (which he loved!) |
| Now I can really see those elephants, thanks Dada! |
| Kevin calls this the "mama face" |
| Riding the zoo train. Animals & a train, Liam was in heaven! |
| Mama & Liam, fun times! |
| Dada & his boy |
