Kevin's mom (& our nephew Ryan) were nice enough to journey our way during Spring Break to spend the night with us and then take Liam back to Grammy and Papa's. We had a great time the evening of their visit, but truthfully, I dreaded saying goodbye to Liam. I figured he'd cry and cry...
Doesn't he look terribly heartbroken? Well, he wasn't, but I was. A tear (or two or three) were shed, then Kevin and I walked around the house aimlessly. Don't worry, we eventually found our way to video games (Kevin), lifetime movies (me) and later a date night, complete with a movie at a theater (haven't done that since I was 7-8 months pregnant with Liam!). The next day Mama had quiet time (watched Price-is-Right) and then a pedicure. Ahhh, what a nice break!
Oh and Bruiser (who had some pretty extensive dental work done the day before) really enjoyed the kid-free vacation!
BIG THANKS TO GRAMMY!
The BIG Easter post will follow tomorrow, as well as a visit to the train station & a fire station!
