Lorelei Rose is 1 month old. She wears a size 1 diaper (a bit big but not by much) and finally fits newborn clothes and some small 0-3 mo clothes.

She LOVES to sleep, although between 11pm and 1am is a timeframe you can count on for a wake up. But she will sleep from 2am until 10am. She wakes to nurse 2x a night, if you can call it that--she just fusses a bit, I lay her next to me, she eats while I sleep and goes back to sleep! I never even really wake and I don't think she does either. I can't complain about that. Might become a bit more difficult for mommy with daddy moving to Hawaii, since he gets up with Liam at 7:30/8, but we'll figure it out!

She lifts her head constantly and is very good about holding it up. She tracks things/people well (especially her DADDY!). Daddy's girl already.

She is such a blessing. A real a sweetie pie. Quiet, content and well adjusted. Loves to be WARM, snuggling someone in a blankie! And there's ALWAYS someone willing to cuddle her!

Not being silent about our loss is looking to be the best therapy for me during this difficult time. Through Facebook I've had countless friends reach out to me and share their stories of loss. Although it doesn't make me feel better, as we're talking about too many babies in heaven, it does make me feel less alone. So I was diagnosed w/ blighted ovum. Meaning the gestational sac and placenta was growing inside of me (the ultrasound showed it was indeed around 7 weeks along) but the baby stopped developing and was reabsorbed into my uterus. Problem is, the placenta is responsible for pregnancy symptoms, so my body still thinks it is pregnant, but there is no longer a baby or embryo. So, until I actually miscarry the tissue, I will feel pregnant. I don't know how to explain how I've been feeling the past few weeks. 25 Weeks & Doctor's Appt.

We hit the 25 week mark today!  Hard to believe!  Time is flying so fast... We had our doctor's appointment today (Kevin is out of town Thursday, so we moved it up).  I weighed in at a whopping 109.8!  My nurse and my doctor's response was they are so so proud of me (I felt so special!  Who would have thought GAINING weight would be so exciting?!).  Kevin's response "WHOA!"  And my response to his "WATCH IT Buddy!"  Ha!  So that's almost 14lbs of weight gain!  I really am quite proud of myself... never thought I could do it (although, I spend most of my time eating these days, so it makes sense). The nurse said I "look cute, am starting to show and have that pregnancy waddle."  Considering I did not feel like I was waddling (sometimes I have to because my tailbone hurts so bad) I was not exactly thrilled about this comment, lol!  I asked Kevin if there is something he is forgetting to tell me... ha!
