Quick details on miss Lorelei. 2 mo check up stats:
20.9in (12th percentile) Liam was 21.5" at 2mo.
9lbs, 5oz (28th percentile) Liam was 10lbs, 12oz at 2mo).
Size 1 diapers
NB clothes (quickly outgrowing, better get in our new home QUICK so I can unpack her 0-3 clothes, especially pj's)
Lorelei got her first cold last week Friday (thanks big brother!). She hasn't let it slow her down, she's been happy as can be and is recovering well, thankfully!
Doc weighed her on Friday when she was seen for the cold. Then again yesterday for her checkup. She said they like to see babies gain 20-40g a day and Lorelei is averaging 50g a day. Way to grow!
I did her shots at 6 weeks to give time for them to set in before putting her on the plane. She got dtap & rotavirus. She cried one second, I picked her up and she was fine. She slept after & didn't really get cranky anymore than usual. Tough & laid back girl!
Lorelei has somewhat of a schedule. Eat around 5a.m. (asleep), Wake between 7-8nap around 9, awake around 1030/11 when she eats, then she usually takes an afternoon nap around time Liam does (1230/1), awake between 330-5 when she eats. Sleep from about 6-8ish. Then she is awake from 9/10pm-midnight/1am). Then she sleeps in bed with me all night (she eats 2x during the night but never wakes!).
It Will be interesting to see how this schedule changes in Hawaii! (I would be ok with going to bed earlier and waking earlier, since Liam has started waking with the sun!). But I'm not complaining because once she's asleep at night, she's asleep! And co-sleeping means I never get up to nurse. It's so nice & truthfully the only way I could get through this single mom of two thing, so I am glad she loves to cuddle and refuses to sleep alone (only during the night, she will sleep anywhere in the day). I may/will regret this later but for now, it works & with all we're going through right now, I've learned to take everything day by day! And I need rest!
Anyways, since she's technically not 2 mo until feb 6th, no 2mo photo shoot until then! So look for those next week! And an update on Lorelei (& Liam's) first airplane ride :)
Until then, here are some catch up photos ;)
