It was a busy holiday! On Monday the 21st we woke up early and drove to Sacramento. Daddy has been struggling with a medical issue for the past few months and he had an appt. to see a specialist that afternoon. Liam did GREAT on the trip (definitely likes his new car seat better than the old one). There were absolutely no tears during the trip and he even napped too! Way to go baby.
We made it to daddy's appt. just in time and checked into our hotel immediately after daddy finished up his tests. We went to the hotel for dinner with Grammy & Papa (they came along to help w. Liam). After dinner we headed up to our room and took a much needed nap. Agh! so refreshing. That night was spent hanging out with Grammy and Papa and doing our usual routine. Liam slept great that night (mama and daddy were worried about sharing a room, but surprisingly Liam was more disruptive to our sleep than we were to his... which is the way we prefer it).
The next day we got out of town early, as Liam had his well baby checkup back at home to get to.
Liam's 6 month well baby checkup was that afternoon. No shots, just a check up (we delayed shots a week, as we didn't want a fussy or possibly sick baby for Christmas). His stats were:
Weight: 15lbs, 1 oz
Height: 25 1/4 inches
Head: 44 5/10 centimeters
He is still in the 10th percentile but looks healthy to us, so we're pretty content. He's in size 3 diapers and the doctor said he's cutting a tooth and needed to start on a sippy cup of water (he doesn't need the water, but he does need to learn to use a cup). Other than that, he's right on track for a 6 month old.

I came home to a package at the door. Auntie Georgia & Uncle Shawn sent me soft/adorable jammies! It made me smile.
And bath toys?! Thanks Auntie Georgia & Uncle Shawn!
Wednesday morning we packed up and headed to Hanford for the holidays! Again, another great trip--no tears and a 1hr nap. Great job Liam.
Liam was greeted by cousin Braxten and his friend Nick. He LOVES watching them play, you can tell he can hardly wait to be a big boy!
Friday afternoon we headed over to Grammy & Papa's house for the Christmas Eve festivities.

Daddy opening his gift from me

Not our best work... but we tried! And he loved it.

All smiles, despite my runny nose (teething)

Intermission for a nap...Like I said, sleep is a thing of the past lately, so we nap when we can!

Opening his stocking... what did Santa bring?!

His personalized book from Mama & Daddy

I think he likes this one...

Opening what turned out to be (and still is) his favorite toy of all time!

Liam LOVES this car, thanks Grandma & Grandpa!

Naughty?! Gpa says NO WAY!

Our 1st Christmas

Christmas w/ Grandma & Grandpa Snowden
We were up bright and early on Christmas morning. Liam is teething so sleeping through the night or late is just a distant memory now! HA! Poor little guy. We set out cookies, but with the fussy's from teething, I failed to take a photo (if we're not consoling Liam, I'm usually EXHAUSTED and somewhat forgetful).
We celebrated Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa Snowden's and were joined by Auntie Kimber & Braxten later that day (Uncle Jeru was in TX for Christmas this year).

We participated in a support our troops photo at the Hanford Civic Auditorium Monday before heading home! Here we are participating in a great cause!
We had a beautiful holiday season. What a different experience with a sweet baby boy to be thankful for! 2010 was very good to us. We can hardly wait to see what 2011 has in store! Wishing everyone a Happy and Beautiful New Year! We're starting ours on the road to Sacramento again! Lots of going, going, going, but we wouldn't have it any other way. As long as we're together...
