10th-11th week

Liam spent the majority of his 10th week of life in Hanford.  GG (great grandma) had surgery so we headed that way last Tuesday so Daddy could spend some time with her and be with her during her stay in the hospital.  We are happy to report that GG is doing great!  She is out of the hospital now and in a health/nursing facility (due home soon!).

We spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa Snowden and some time with Grammy and Papa Fagundes.  Liam was able to meet a lot of Grammy's extended family (Uncle Eric, Uncle Chris, Aunt Frances, cousin Diane & Great-Great Aunt Laura).  They all said he is tiny--wow and we thought he had gotten so big (I guess 10-11 pounds is definitely bigger than 6 pounds, but still small).

We also spent some time with Auntie Chell', Uncle David, Auntie Patty, Cousin Ryan, Cousin Natalie, Auntie Kimber, Cousin Braxten & Great Aunt Shan. It was really nice to play and bond with family.  Liam sure is loved by a lot of people!  It's fun to see Liam interact with everyone--he sure is a lot more social now!

Braxten LOVES his little cousin.  Here he is swinging him, singing to him and being his silly-self (don't miss the video--too funny!).

Braxten really loves Liam's play mat (hey, if Liam's not using it, somebody should right?!).

He LOVED hanging with Grandma and Grandpa.  He got "munk" when Grandma gave him a bottle.  Grandma, Mommy & Auntie Chell' are the only people I've noticed that can calm a fussy Liam down.  Although, he really isn't fussy anymore unless he needs a nap (you really have to help him get to sleep).

Liam LOVED watching Whale Wars with Grandpa and found a new pass-time--staring at the lights/ceiling fan in Grandma & Grandpa's house!  Oh what fun!  Like I said, he's a lot more observant now, which amazes me since he has been raising his head and looking around since the first week of life--truly didn't think he could get more curious!

Watching Whale Wars--funny how he hates commercials!  Thank goodness for DVR.

We also celebrated Auntie Kimber's 23rd Birthday.  Liam was really well behaved when we went out to dinner.  He looked around a bit, started to fuss, grandma scooped him up and he slept in her arms until he was ready for his bottle.  Daddy fed him and all was well!  What a great baby you are Liam!
Happy Birthday Aunt Kimber!

Great Auntie Shan stopped by for Auntie Kimber's birthday party.  Liam showed her his thumb sucking skills.  She enjoyed holding & loving on him, as usual!
Auntie Shan loves me!
Here is Liam meeting his Great Uncle Chris for the first time!  They look a lot alike don't they?  Uncle Chris loved holding Liam, but will only do so if he has a clean diaper.  Ha!  GG thinks Liam looks like a lot of her family members.  When she is recovered we will ask her for some photos.  But this one proves we may be on the right track!

Cousin Natalie is getting so big!  I'm sure Liam will be running around with her soon.
Here's Aunt Laura reading to Natalie.  Liam was loved on by Aunt Laura too, but we did not get any photos (too busy watching!).  We will try to remember to do this in a few weekends when we return to Hanford for Braxten's 3rd birthday party (by the way that will be his first trip to the zoo--how fun!  Be sure not to miss that post!).

Story time at Grammy & Papa's:

We walked as a family a couple of cool mornings (70 degrees is much better walking weather than 108!).

And finally, here's Liam at 11 weeks old!  We made it back home just in time for the Steelers game!  Check out his gear.

What a wonderful week/weekend it was with family!
